Created from molten glass that he made himself, he would design from the inside out adding concentric layers of crystal, iridescent and colored glass. He would often cut and polish facets or windows, as seen in this example, where the interior forms are revealed and reflected at different angles. This piece is crafted in a bullet shaped egg form atop a pedestal base which is decorated with amazing iridescent glitter swirls. It measures a large 10 x 4 wide and is artist signed with the initials H. May 1989 along with the numbers 01-62. It is in excellent condition, free of any chips, cracks, nicks or repairs with minimal shelf wear on bottom which has been protected by bumper pads.
