This is a very valuable handmade antique paperweight that is carefully made by hand by the world’s oldest crystal brand “Saint Louis Saint Louis” craftsmen. It is a well-known story that Saint-Louis has a capital relationship with Hermès. Even if you are not a collector, you will want to pick it up with a face that makes you forget the time. LOUIS FRANCE MILLEFIORI JASPER GROUND PAPERWEIGHT. We have the privilege of offering you this gorgeous antique St. Louis, France, millefiori, jasper ground paperweight. Circa 1860 and measures 2 1/2 in diameter. Features a large central white, blue and blue millefiori cane is at the apex of a vivid green and white jasper ground. Has a factory polished base. The paperweight is just absolutely beautiful to see in person. In wonderful condition with a single minute nick, some scattered light wear, a couple clusters of minute circular light refracting annealing lines and bruises. This piece would look absolutely stunning in any setting, especially with a floral arrangement. Would be great for any St. Louis or paperweight collector. St. Louis L/E Crown Handcooler Glass Paperweight 1976 Red/White/Blue

Louis Crown Handcooler Art Glass Paperweight from 1976. Limited Edition of 500 made with 250 reserved for US collectors. This paperweight is shown on page 87 of’The Art Of The Paperweight Saint Louis’ by Gerard Ingold – Paperweight Press 1981. Red, white and blue twists with latticinio ribbons. There’s a sig/date cane on the crown. Size is approx 2 1/8″ wide X 3″ H and weighs 12.3 ounces. Stand is not included-for display purposes only. Condition- I can almost guarantee that when you see this weight it will be a feast for your eyes. Only after examining it with both my hands and eyes multiple times did I find a tiny nick, saw 2 small scratches and found a flea bite that I can’t feel because it’s so small/faint I have to search for it even though I know it’s there. I have reduced the price accordingly but promise you it displays great as the twists/ribbons hid it’s little imperfections.

Meet the well-published Antique St. It’s also been included in Paul Hollister’s,’Glass Paperweights of the New-York Historical Society’ on page 53 with a color plate 35 Provenance: The Sinclair Collection New Hampshire at the time of the sale in 1995. At the time it was noted at the time it had minor bruises and scratches, but I have had it professionally restored to the state this fine antique deserves except for the base, which has typical base wear for a paperweight this old. As described at the time:’A rare faceted St. Louis double-clematis on Amber-flash ground weight, 19th Century. The blue clematis flower has several overlapping rows of ribbed petals surrounding a red and yellow cane stamen center. A short curved green stem has 5 leaves surrounding the flower which rests on an amber-flash ground. 5 side facets, 1 center. Weighs 1.6 lbs and is approximately 3.1″ W X 2.2″ H.
