Lovely example of a relatively uncommon design of Perthshire paperweight. Limited numbers of this design were issued from 1976 to 1979 only. The complex millefiori canes and twisted ribbons are set on a colored ground: in this example the maker has used a translucent vibrant rose red. Concave polished base centred by a’P1976′ date and signature cane. There is a worn maker’s label on base. 2″ H X 3″ round. Weekends and holidays excluded.
