For your consideration is a rare Matthew Biechner, art glass paperweight. It measures approximately 3 1/4 inches wide and 2 1/2 inches tall. The paperweight is designed with a large embossed black widow spider on the top. The body is black with a red dot on its back. It is on a bumpy, clear reflective glass background. The bottom is signed Vitrix Studio 1980, M Biechner. The artist has been featured in the Corning Museum of Art. The paperweight is in great condition without chips or cracks. This is an unusual find and would make a delightful gift for a collector.
