Rainbow Bull’s Eye. Art Glass Disc Paperweight. 5 inches in diameter. 1 1/4 inches deep. This art glass paperweight was made by Michael Hansen and Nina Paladino of California Glass Studio, Inc. And has an interesting design. When viewed head-on, it looks somewhat like a bull’s eye with a dark center and purple, red, and yellow rings surrounded by a ring of clear glass. The purple ring is scalloped and has controlled bubbles in between each scallop. These controlled bubbles can also be seen when the paperweight is viewed from the side. The back of the paperweight is somewhat opaque and reflects iridized shades of purple, blue, and green. Quite an amazing piece of art glass! The base is flat and is signed CGS,’88. California Glass Studio, Inc. Was formed by Nina Paladino and Michael Hansen in 1977. Condition: This paperweight is in excellent used condition with no scratches, chips, or cracks.
