This was my grandmothers paperweight. It’s been in her house for years. Just little scratch on the bottom. Signed to the base: “Orient & Flume 72 E 1975″. Weighs 13 ounces and is approximately 2.9″ W x 1.8″ H In good condition, no major issues to report on this almost 50 year old paperweight.

An awesome Vintage Orient & Flume 1979 3-Dimensional Iridescent Snake With Silvery Rocks. The snake is iridescent gold with a blue head curled around a dark purple base with external torch work. It’s a great piece reflecting the change taking place in the later part of the 70′s at the California studios where torch-work took hold… Allowing direct application of complex 3-D imagery. Chris Buzzini says that the first time he saw a torch used was on a Lundberg 1974 Tropical Fish prototype by M. I’m now the lucky owner of that very Lundberg prototype paperweight from Chris’s private collection. Weighs 1.4 lbs and is approximately 3″ W x 2.8″ H. Signed to the base: “Orient & Flume S35 AT 1979″.
