This is a Vintage Fratelli Toso Murano Art Glass Paperweight with Millefiori, Latticino Ribbons and an Amber Base. The original importer sticker for KB Imports (Koscherak Brothers) is still attached. The spherical paperweight has a beautiful clover design featuring blue and white millefiori cane and white latticino ribbon over an amber base. The paperweight measures approximately 3″ in diameter x 3″ tall and is in very good vintage pre-owned condition with no chips, cracks, stains, or crazing. The original vintage foil label, reading “Made in Murano Italy, ” is still attached and has been confirmed to have been linked with the Fratelli Toso furnace. The millefiori canes in this the piece match others made by Fratelli Toso, thus a positive identification can be assumed. The base has been smoothed and highly polished. Please see pictures for details. There is what appears to be a very tiny inclusion, assumed to be part of the manufacturing process, in the glass near the top of the paperweight.
