Perthshire stopped making its renowned paperweights in 2002 and they are considered among the finest of the 20th century, most date to 1970s-80s. This very fine example is perfect without any condition issues, a perfect symmetrical piece of glass artistry with red, white, and blue twisted spoke ribbons, well defined star flowers canes, with green outer canes and multi-color blue, white, red, and green interior colors. In the very center of the white central star is the signature, a small letter “P” visible under a magnifying glass.
