Made in Murano, Italy, and mesmerizingly beautiful, this golden glass egg paperweight was crafted by world renowned master glassmaker, Archimede Seguso circa 1960′s-70′s. The central black glass is surrounded by a swirl of exquisitely crafted gold bulliconte (controlled bubbles) and tiny flecks of gold. One can only wonder how the bubbles were formed so perfectly. It is in excellent pre owned condition. No issues; no wear or damage. Hand signed by the artist on polished base (pontil), “Archimede Seguso Murano”. Please see all photos for detail on condition and craftsmanship. A truly spectacular piece! Measurements: 3 1/4″H x2 1/2″W at its widest. Weight: 1 lb 1 oz. Vintage 1950′s (I believe) Murano pink and blue white Opalescent glass conch seashell by Archimede Seguso. Sommerso layers of pink encased in blue white Opalescent glass that is fantastic colour. Dimensions: 4″x 3.5″. Beautiful colours and very heavy weight for its size at 1 Lb. Immaculate condition: Only very Light wear, as shown. Stunning on display as light really catches the opalescent glass wonderfully. This is all part of my clear out from my vintage glass collection due to a planned house building work please check my listings. Vintage Signed ARCHIMEDE SEGUSO Iridescent Ribbed PAPERWEIGHT Red Purple MURANO. Stunning example of Murano glass by Archimede Seguso. Signed by the artist as well as having his label intact, this is a ribbed paperweight. It is iridescent, filled with color, but hard to photograph. Looks like ruby red when held to the light, but then you can see purple and green and blue, really beautiful. Has an almost crackle type finish when examined closely. Such an unusual piece by this amazing artist. Measures 4.25″ in diameter and 2.25″ high. No flaws or damage. We always try to describe all items fully and point out any flaws we can find.
