This is a unique art glass paperweight in ocean theme with a “Turtle and Glitzy Bubbles” Richard Satava from 1989. Signed by artist “Richard Satava”. It has the original paper label “Chico, California”. 12 – 89 scripted in addition to the hand signed signature. It measures about 3-1/8 inches wide and 2.75 inches tall. It weighs 1 lb 6.6 oz. Condition is excellent with no noticeable issue. A can of soda is placed for size reference and not included. Vintage Orient & Flume Insect Paperweight Description and Item Information Up for sale is this beautiful Orient and Flume studio art glass bug paperweight. Please excuse any glare in the photos. This clear crystal paperweight has a beetle and flowers theme. The backdrop to the beetle and flowers has pulled feather decoration in light and dark blue. Inside the glass, there is what appears to be a fine, sparkling glitter. This piece measures approximately 2 1/2 inches tall, with a maximum width of about 2 3/4 inches. Unpacked, it weighs 1 pound 1.4 ounces. The flat base is ground and polished. This would be a great addition to a collection of American studio art glass.
