This is a “Used” paperweight, meaning that it has been previously owned. It is smooth, unchipped, no cracks, like new. This is made by Robert W. Stephens whose work is more than well-known. This is iconic, clear glass with dichroic ribbons throughout it. His signature and the date it was made are on the base. There are no use chips, no cracking, the paperweight is as perfect as it was when it left Stephens’ studio. The metallic glint in the dichroic glass design is stunning! I have looked at other pieces of his work and they are beautiful!
