Antique White Back Glass Advertising Paperweight for the Electric Storage Battery Co. Image is showing The “Exide” Battery. Measures about 3″ x 4.5″ x 1 thick. Front does have some scratches, and a tiny flea bite on the back that can’t be seen on the front side. Nothing terrible, and still displays wonderfully. This one is for the Stoughton Wagon Co. Features a wonderful image of a horse drawn wagon. It does have a bit of the image coloring missing, but the wagon outline is still there. Take a close look at the last photo to see what i mean. Would not be too hard to touch this up. Also, there are a couple of minor chips on the bottom edge, which are not a big deal at all. Still an an absolutely wonderful, and RARE piece that displays wonderfully as is!! Measures 1.25″ tall x 3″ wide. Excellent addition to any collection. Don’t miss out! The item “RARE Vtg. Vintage Pike Mfg Co Advertising Sharpening Oil Whet Stone Glass Paperweight Hone

A very neat and clever advertising item from Pike Mfg Co. It is a beveled glass paperweight with the reverse applied logo design and attached to the glass is what looks like a sharpening stone. Stone looks to be well used with dip worn in the center. There is a small chip out of the corner and a few tiny nicks out of the glass, but looks to be in fairly decent condition. Measures about 2 by 2-7/8. Expect minor evidence of use or imperfections, dings etc. We take many photos of our items to assist with the description. IT IS APPROX 4″ TALL 2 1/2″ WIDE AND 3/4 Somebody emailed me this: I’m a advertising paperweight collector myself. Thought I would give you some more info on your item. I think you price is about right. (this is a scarce paperweight) what you have is a Buffalo Bill Cody paperweight. I’m sure you have herd of Buffallo Bill and his Wild West Show. Bill tried to get into the 1893 Chicago Worlds fair. The worlds fair organizers thought he was to western and did not permit him in the fair. Bill Rented some land near the fair and performed his wild west show. When these paperweight were produced, they were mistakenly reversed, so if you look at buffalo bill signature its a mirror ima.
