Vintage Orient & Flume Paperweight Description and Item Information Up for sale is this beautiful Orient and Flume studio art glass paperweight. Please excuse any glare in the photos. This blue iridescent paperweight has a large, white flower, orange hanging hearts, and pulled feather patterns. The glass itself is cobalt blue when viewed from beneath. This piece measures approximately 2 3/4 inches tall, with a maximum width of about 2 3/4 inches. Unpacked, it weighs 1 pound 2.0 ounces. The flat base is ground and polished. This would be a great addition to a collection of America studio art glass. Identification This circa 1979 paperweight has engraved markings beneath, Orient & Flume 208 S 1979. It has its original, but worn, Orient & Flume label beneath. The glass was made in Chico, California. Condition This paperweight looks good overall, with no cracks. It has light wear. As found and as shown in Photo 5, there is a very small (1/16 inch by 1/8 inch) flake to the lower side. Color and iridescence variations are as made. Terms of Sale 1.
