ORIGINAL 1990 CHRIS HEILMAN’BLUE SWIRL’ PAPERWEIGHT. This is just a great original piece. Chris Heilman is a contemporary master glass blower who has been creating paperweights and glass sculpture for the last 25 years plus. This is one of his earlier pieces that I have been able to find. Singed and dated 1990 on the bottom, this is a wonderful piece with great blue whispy cloud like swirls inside with some bubbles. It was tough to photograph as the flash kept bouncing off a different part of the swirl. In the first two pictures the orange streaks across are actually reflections. The other photos I took without the flash. Wonderful swirls throughout and mostly clear inside allows the light to reflect every which way and you can see through the piece. The paperweight stands about 3 inches tall and about 4 inches in diameter. Clean with no scratches or chips to the glass. There is a few very minor scratches on the bottom. Really a wonderful piece.
