Beautiful antique set of brass andirons. One seems to lean back more than the other looks like the leg might be slightly bent but you cannot notice it when looking straight at it. Vintage St. Clair JACK IN PULPIT TRUMPET FLOWER Paperweight Faceted Glass Lamp

Clair that is in very good working condition. The piece is not signed but is very similar in style and design to other St. Clair flower paperweight lamps I have seen. The lamp is accented with a faceted glass or maybe crystal base and two faceted glass divider pieces as well as filigree metal accent pieces. The metal filigree sections and other metal pieces show some toning/age to the metal, which just adds to the lamp’s charm. The lamp measures approx. 13 1/2″ high to top of socket without harp, 24″ total height including harp and finial, 4 across base. The flower paperweight center is “apple shaped” and depicts yellow Trumpet or Jack In The Pulpit style flowers with trapped air bubbles and green colored glass accents at the bottom of the paperweight and measures approx 3″ high and 3 1/4″ across the center, there are 2 very shallow flakes to the very base from manufacture – occurred during drilling the hold for the lamp – you have to look for them to find them – they do not detract. There are two micro flea bites to the faceted glass pieces, which I used a magnifying glass to find. The lamp is very unusual and displays beautifully! It has a wonderful white floral pattern with controlled bubbles in a 3 tiered design. This is heavy and weighs about 13 lbs It’s in very good used condition with normal wear. There are no chips, cracks or repairs The measurements are approximate. This is about 29.75″ in height including the finial x 4″ wide at the center point and sits on a 6.5 octagon-shaped base The wiring appears to be fine and it’s in good working order, but feel free to have it checked out for safety reasons I have the matching lamp to this piece also available. Overall height: 10.25. Weight (not including cord): 9 lbs. This lamp has a great design. The whole thing, especially the top glass piece, kind of glows when there is a lit bulb inside. I do know it works, but unfortunately I dont have the right size bulb. The top blown glass piece is 5 wide with white trumpet flowers. Below that is a 4 wide blown glass piece with smaller white flowers, and the base is a 5.25 x 5.25 piece of lead crystal. It looks great, but there are some minor flaws if you look close. The top rim has three small groups of tiny scratches. Theres one picture with two of those sections circled. The bottom edge of the top piece has flea bites all the way around, which I assume is from the factory and not damage. The lead crystal base has a tiny chip on a corner, and some expected light scratching on the underside. _gsrx_vers_827 GS 7.0.13 (827). STUNNING CRYSTAL AND BRASS ANDIRONS. The very unusual combination of lovely large hand blown paperweight glass pieces from the highly regarded ST CLAIR HOUSE OF GLASS and the scroll brass base, connectors, and finial makes a very impressive statement. A beautiful garland pattern is contained inside the paperweights which have a slight blush of pink. One seems to lean back slightly compared to the other.
