With a clear glass casing around blue, green and purple swirls enhanced by controlled bubbles, the paperweight is a masterpiece with a stunning pop of color and design. Very nice as always from Whitefriars, this is a useable or displayable paperweight and is a nice weight. This little duck measure APPROX 5 inches high. C1959- please note this is not the large DUCK! Made in ARTIC BLUE – the controlled bubbles are throughout the duck and controlled superbly allowing for the “feather” appearance on the head. Lovely and cute – a great gift, highly sort after. Item is listed in good Preloved condition with signs of use, boxed and ready to send. More photos are available on request. I always do my best to give my customers as much information as possible and this only comes from myself tirelessly researching all my items and learning about them in as much detail as I can. I take all my photos using bright lights to show all detail and always keep extra photos on hand should more photos be requested. We are delighted to offer this rare spherical art glass orb. At its center is a suspended controlled teardrop air bubble. A spectacular thick controlled bubble ring with a luminous silvery quality surrounds the teardrop. A smaller especially intriguing group of bubbles are suspended along the bottom of the orb. This unique piece measures approximately 6 high x 6 diameter and weighs a whopping 9.5 pounds. There are minimal faint surface scratches. The heavier surface scratches on the bottom are from being displayed.
