For your consideration is another Robert Eickholt masterpiece. He is a well known glass artist who has created some of the most visually striking paperweights out there and this one is no different. An iridescent fountain explodes from its blue confines in a myriad of colors depending on the light. The fountain itself almost looks like crackle glass to me. As you can see, the blue bottom also has a slight iridescence of pink to it. Taken with different backdrops, the last photo is of the bottom signature and date. It’s approximately 3 1/2 tall and in very good condition, with a few very fine scratches which are not noticeable and do not detract from its beauty. This would make an awesome present for someone that collects fine glass or egg decorations or just keep it for yourself! Thank you for viewing. Carmen D’Aquila Papeweight Dichroic Purple Iridescent Art Glass Vintage Signed. This is a vintage art glass paperweight from Carmen Daquila. It has purple and teal towers surrounding a form reminiscent of an anemone, jellyfish or some other ocean dweller. There are layers of iridescent dichroic glass throughout, giving it lots of color variation in different lighting. It is signed on the base C. It is approximately 4 inches at its widest point, and 3 inches tall. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or scratches. There is a bit of roughness around the edges of the bottom, but to my eye they appear to be part of the creation process, rather than damage. There is a hole in the back/bottom that would allow for hanging this piece on the wall as well. Signed on bottom / back “Rollin Karg 2000″. Excellent used vintage condition. Only scratches are on the “sitting” surfaces. Pitting to the glass on the back close to the “sitting” edge , seems from manufacturing. Dichroic glass is glass which displays two different colors by undergoing a color change in certain lighting conditions. This is NOT a paperweight. NAME: “Huge Dichroic Vortex Marble”. SIGNED: “Jason Compagni 2002″ (with his manner of handwriting). DIAMETER: 2 3/8 inches. No sweat, and no surprises. Actually, the cost may even be higher if the size of the box is huge… And if you open the package since this example is strictly about refusing a package being handed to you by the UPS carrier.
