Rare Vintage Murano Glass Paperweight. Large 10″ x 8″ x 5 Animal Figure of a Bull Ox. For those who collect Venetian glass in the Sommerso or Millefiori methods, will appreciate the unique value of its exquisiteness and the mastery of the skilled artist in making such a piece! The Isle of Murano, Italy is the most famous and recognized place in the entire world for exquisite quality Venetian Glass. Top quality with its internal coloring and was made by a glass blower of high artistic glass blowing skills. It had an Authentic Red Label which stated Genuine Venetian Glass Handmade – Made in Murano, Italy. The label unfortunately became detached after wiping it off & since has been misplaced. The label dated it from the mid-century era of the Murano Glass Blowing Families like Frateli Toso and from Artists such as “Poli”, Testolini, who were the Prominent Glass Blowing genius artists in glass blown sculptures of the 1950′s.
