Vintage Book Ends Fish Aquarium Italian Murano Glass Block Paperweight. This heavy glass block has been in my mother’s house since I can remember. I believe my father got it for her when he was overseas in the 1950′s. Beautiful, vivid colors, amazing detail, the camera can’t do it justice. The fish shimmers when it catches the light. Dimensions are 3 7/8″ x 5″ x 1 3/4. The is a small chip off the rear right corner (2nd pic) and a small circular pock mark on the upper left on top (see last pic). I think this blemish is from the natural process of making the block with tiny air bubbles in it to look like an aquarium. From a smoke-free, pet-free home.
