Orient and Flume paperweight signed: O&F 1981. Colors: Blue / White. Condition: bottom has a somewhat deep scratch on the center bottom of paperweight. Also a few slight scratches around the bottom outer edge. I feel no scratches on the rest of the paperweight. Measurements: 3 inches wide x 2 1/2 inches high. This is a beautiful example of Orient and Flume’s earlier creations. Please ask questions before purchasing and I will answer to the best of my ability. Vintage 1977 ORIENT & FLUME Art Glass Paperweight, Spider and Flower Signed

Vintage Signed Orient & Flume Art Glass Paperweight. Features a spider, its web, and a very pretty lily flower. Very pretty iridescent shade of gold, green, and purple. Signed Orient & Flume –there is also another mark on it that says S 137 M 1977. There does appear to be an internal hairline crack on the bottom that goes up through part of the center. This is obviously a mark that was created while the piece was being blown. There are a few minor scratches on the bottom from use–not to bad for 42 years old! No chips or breaks. Measures 3 1/2″ wide by 2 1/2″ high. Most of the items that I sell are antique or vintage as as such they do show signs of patina, use, and age. That only adds to the character that so many collectors desire. If there are any major issues or defects, I try to describe them to the best of my ability and as accurately as possible. Vintage Orient & Flume Paperweight Description and Item Information Up for sale is this beautiful Orient and Flume studio art glass paperweight. Please excuse any glare in the photos. This iridescent paperweight has scattered pansy or violet flowers, and pulled feather patterns. The colors are mostly blues and greens. This piece measures approximately 2 11/16 inches tall, with a maximum width of about 3 inches. Unpacked, it weighs 1 pound 4.5 ounces. The flat base is ground and polished. This would be a great addition to a collection of American studio art glass. Identification This circa 1978 paperweight has engraved markings beneath, as shown. It has its original Orient & Flume label beneath. The glass was made in Chico, California. Condition This paperweight looks very good overall, with no cracks or chips. For your consideration is a striking Orient and Flume egg shaped paperweight. It is signed , dated and initialed. The paperweight measures approximately 3 inches tall and 2 inches at its widest point. The top is a deep aurene cobalt blue/purple and the body features a light blue, silver grey, white outlined, pulled feather design. There are iridescent hues that show in some lights. You can see magenta, gold, purple and blue. The base is greenish. It is a beautiful piece without chips or cracks. The bottom reads ” Orient and Flume, E18R, 1977″.
