Antique German Silesian Bohemian Millefiori On Latticinio Glass Paperweight

Antique, dated ca 1860. Concentric pattern of millefiori on rare white-yellow latticinio double cushion from unidentified Silesian or Bohemian glassworks. This type of antique paperweights is considered most likely as originated from Silesian or other Prussian glassworks. Diameter ca 55mm (ca 2 3/16″), height ca 37mm (ca 1 7/16″). Very good, original condition as depicted on photos. Very m inor signs of wear and tiny lower-side chips as seen on base picture – on 9th and 11th hour – adequate to the age of this paperweight. No internal imperfections, very nice millefiori canes assortment. Additional pictures may be provided on request. Unique Antique Papier Mache Doll marked 3/0 Paperweight Glass Eyes German 21

Here is a lovely large Antique Papier Mache Doll. The doll’s shoulderhead is made of papier mache and marked with a large number 3 over the top of a 0 on the side of the dolls head. The doll measures 21 long and has an excelsior stuffed body. Sadly the left arm is missing but the right arm is still hanging on with some broken fingertips and both feet are also there. The hand and both feet are made of heavy plaster. I love the doll’s large blue paperweight glass eyes. You will notice around both eyes there is is a crack wrapping around both eyes (see picture). She has wonderful feathered painted brows, painted upper and lower eyelashes, warm blush pink cheeks, pink lips, with a small dimple in her chin. She still has a tuft of mohair coming out of the top of her head. The doll comes with a couple pieces of handmade antique doll clothing. All of the clothing is old and showing signs of wear and tear. The doll comes from a smoke-free home. Please let me know if you have any questions. 3 3/4″× 2 1/2″. This isn’t a mushroom, but alligned, it Looks Like It! 5 (side) & 1 (top) Flat Fascets. 4 millifiori rings surround 1 center cane. Crimp & Rod type canes, as they used. These millifiori canes used here all compliment each other Nicely for German canes types. The Red over White Overlay is done to perfection, As is the Cutting. This was a New Skill, back then, & hard to do, let alone so well! ONLY ONE I’VE EVER SEEN, BESIDES 1 IN THE BOOKS! But I have Most of these Canes in other old Bohemian Weights. I’m pretty sure if Josephinehut, but not R… Crown company, I doubt. Not those types of millifiori that look like garish brigh construction paper in this one, as seen in R… I forgot that companies name!
