For your consideration is an amazing , vintage, hand blown, ORIENT AND FLUME paperweight. The background is an iridescent smoky gray. A black scarab/beetle that has bright blue eyes and stripes appears near the top. It is heading for a patch of white flowers that have a rust dot center. Pulled feather designs that simulate webbing appear on the sides. There are also rust and black stems that are coming from the flower and extends to the base. The piece is signed Orient and Flume, OF 3May 1977. It is approximately 3 1/8 inches wide and 2 3/4 inches high. In some lights there is a slight iridescent magenta and gold hue to the piece. It is in great condition without chips or cracks. Some scratches appear on the base where it rests. It is very reflective and shows best in a bright light. In a shady place it is rather dark. This would make an unusual addition to your signed glass paperweight collection or give it as a special gift. I have another similar Orient and Flume paperweight listed.
