Designed by George Thompson in 1969. The sculpture is in excellent with no chips or cracks or scratches and comes complete with its original rotating stand. Comes with original box, the latch on the box has been damaged but it still locks, the box has minor wear from storage. Measurements are 8 1/4 Tall approx. This very scarce Richard Ritter Signed art glass paper weight is absolutely stunning. It is a cylindrical tapering shape with swirling cloud volcano layers leading up to an amazingly detailed flower. It is Signed Ritter 028/03 I believe. There are just a couple very tiny, almost impossible to see flea bites or possible tiny impressions that I do not know if they are from the studio or something else, that do not hinder the beauty of this beautiful piece of art. It measures 6 3/4 tall and 2 1/4 and weighs 2lbs 5.8oz. The pictures do not do this piece justice but I have done my best to show the detail. For your consideration is an outstanding Vandermark, art glass paperweight. It measures approximately 3 inches wide and 3 inches tall. It is designed with a large butterfly on the top. The thorax of the butterfly is a raised strip of aurene gold. The gold is repeated in the swirls on the bottom third of the paperweight. The core is a soft translucent cream color. Purple feathered designs create the wings. It is embossed with beads of turquoise, red and yellow. In some lights you can see iridescent hues. I t has a soft satin finish and feels great to the touch. The bottom is signed Vandermark, B. It is in great condition with no chips or cracks. This is a rare find and would make a delightful gift for a collector. I list new things almost daily and have placed many of my items on SALE. Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a lovely vintage Art Glass paperweight decorated with large internal flower. This nice paperweight has a large internal flower with beautiful pale pink to dark pink coloration with green leaves and stem. The stem runs all the way through the triple layered pedestal to the base of the paperweight. The base has contrasting white and blue mottled splatter inside a clear glass polished base. Measures 5″ high with a maximum width of 3 1/2″ and the base is 3 1/4 in diameter. The paperweight is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs and will certainly not disappoint any paperweight collector.
