Vintage late 40′s Fratelli Toso Studios, Murano Ribbons & Lattice, works, unique, hard to do well, cased in clear, fine! Flawless, no chips, cracks, damage, repairs, incredibly intricate design, well done… 3 inches wide, 2.5 inches tall, base is 2.25, flat polished, labeled. Fratelli Toso a Master Glass dude in his time, worked in/with Latticino, Zanfirico, casing techniques may well have been one of the earliest along w/Venini. They worked in several studios in Venice, before the big fire/fires, and the Venetian Officials moved AL glassworks/studios to Murano Island. Studio names have come and gone for centuries, some bought, some inherited, some closed and gone forever! Toso, was at several, alongw/Venini and their stuff is usually/always incredible, small but mighty master pieces of intricate incredible works. “La Fence/Veteria”was a older brand, where Toso worked in this pieces period,’he also worked for/w-Venini in Venini’s Glassworks for a time. Is a Consortium during the mid-40′s, Toso, Venini were founding memebers along w/5-7 more of the better Glass Masters.
