For your consideration is an amazing, vintage, iridescent purplish-blue, Lundberg Studios paperweight. It measures 2 3/4 inches wide and is approximately 2 1/2 inches tall. A large red dragonfly is on the top. Reddish flowers are on the sides. There are silhouettes of tall ocean kelp on the sides. The dark, thin, pulled feather designs remind me of ocean waves. In some lights the purplish-blue aurene finish has an iridescent hue and you can see shades of magenta. The bottom reads: Lundberg Studios 1979, LS32734. There are no chips, scratches or cracks. It is lovely and would be a great addition to your Lundberg collection. I have more similar dragonfly paperweights for sale on my site. For your consideration is a wonderful, vintage, iridescent gold, Lundberg Studios paperweight. It measures 2 3/4 inches wide and is approximately 2 1/2 inches tall. Several bright green leaves are on the top. They are connected by thin deep brown vines. Little blue stars appear around the red dragonfly. In some lights the pale gold aurene finish has an iridescent hue and you can see shades of magenta. The bottom reads: Lundberg Studios 1979, LS2192. There are no chips, scratches or cracks. There are always a few discrepancies in the older blown glass. It is beautiful and would be a great addition to your Lundberg collection. I have other dragonfly paperweights for sale. For your consideration is a delightful, vintage, iridescent gold, Lundberg Studios paperweight. It measures 2 3/4 inches wide and is approximately 2 1/4 inches tall. Four bright green leaves are on the top. They are connected by thin deep brown vines. Little blue and red stars also appear among the leaves. A purplish/blue butterfly is near the top section. In some lights the pale gold aurene finish has an iridescent hue and you can see slight traces of magenta, teal and gold. The paperweight is in good condition with no cracks or chips. There are a few very light scratches on the base where it rests. This is conducive with the age of the piece. There is also a slight scratch to the right of the butterfly’s wing. A Vintage Paul Stankard art form paperweight Day Lily bud & green leaves & stem. A bright orange blossom, a Day Lily bud just opening to reveal tan filaments with black antlers about a central stamen is joined by three buds in this American Floral Series weight. Six leaves, variegated green to yellow-green, join the stem at its’ base. The paperweight is dated 1977 and is from a limited edition of 75 by Mr. Stankard’s Description: A bright orange blossom, just opening to reveal tan filaments with black antlers about a central stamen is joined by three buds in this American Floral Series weight. Stankard, often called the father of glass blowing, is an internationally acclaimed artist-in-glass and is considered a living master in the art of flameworking. He is known for his amazing small-scale botanical themes encapsulated in clear glass. Paul’s work is represented in over 60 museums around the world and has received two honorary doctorate degrees and numerous awards such as the Masters of the Medium from The James Renwick Alliance, The American Craft Council College of Fellows class of 2000 and Honorary Professor/Artist-in-Resident at Salem Community College in southern New Jersey. Stankard is the author of two books; the inspiring autobiography titled, No Green Berries or Leaves : The Creative Journey of an Artist in Glass and most recently, an educational resource titled, Spark the Creative Flame-Making the Journey from Craft to Art.
