For sale is a really unusual, whimsical Degenhart Columbus, OH vintage airplane glass paperweight. Features a charming one-of-a-kind folky rendering of an old fashion propeller-driven plane with pilot! Measures 3 1/8″ in diameter and 2 1/8″ tall. In overall excellent, clean and shiny condition. It does have a horizontal internal crack located at top, above the airplane and does not extend to outside surface. This type of crack is I believe is part of the handmade manufacturing process. Does not affect view of plane label and only apparent when viewed at certain upper side angle. Expected very light use/age wear underneath and a few tiny, fine scratches seen upon close inspection under light mentioned for the sake of accuracy. Will make an excellent addition to your collection.

An Exceptional 3 Antique Glass Paperweight. With an American Wheatie penny inside! A perfect example of American Art Glass whimsy, this antique glass paperweight houses a Wheatie penny! While the copper penny adds charm, this hand-blown ornament is full of End-of-Day yellow, red, white, and black color splash! The penny has plenty of room to freely dance in the paperweight, and changes size depending on your perspective! This piece is unsigned but bears a rough base where a pontil scar was removed flat. The American Wheatie penny is from 1919. The piece is likely a product of early 20. Century glassworks in the Midwest or East Coast. Other paperweights will be added in the next few months. This piece is in NEAR MINT condition! It shows very few signs of use or wear and is free of major damage, flaw, and repair! This is an exceptional display piece! VINTAGE SOLDIERS & SAILORS HOME ERIE PA GLASS PAPERWEIGHT. This type of antique glass paperweight was popular during the Victorian era, encasing advertising messages or scenic and souvenir related photographs. This circa 1890s paperweight holds a photo of the SOLDIERS & SAILORS HOME – ERIE, PA. The Pennsylvania Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Home was constructed to care for ailing veterans of the Civil War. The Grand Army of the Republic chose the site of the old Marine Hospital as the perfect spot to care for military veterans. The first inmate entered the Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Home at 560 East 3rd Street in Erie, Pa. On February 22, 1886. The Vintage PAPERWEIGHT Has Some Minor Wear Considering Age Of It Some Minor discolored, Few Small Scratches On Top Of The Glass Few Red Ink Spot As Shown In Photos. Measurements Are 4× 2¾ x ¾ thick.
