For sale is a Vintage Golden Crown E & R Italy Murano Glows Paperweight Pulled Feather Murrine. Features: it has Golden Crown E&R Ebeling & Reuss Co. The pattern is pulled feather with a single murrine or millefiori on top. The glass looks custard glass, it glows with a UV light. Condition: Condition is very good, pre-owned. There is one very tiny puncture on the glass as shown in the second photo. Measures approximately: 2 1/4″ across in diameter x 3 1/4″ in height. Vintage Fratelli Toso Handblown Dark Green & Colorful Murrine Glass Paperweight

I’m guessing at the age of this paperweight and also the maker, but I’ve seen others similar to this one and they’ve been created by Fratelli Toso studio in Murano. As to the age, I believe it’s from the 1950′s or 1960′s. Below the clear glass sits a deep dark green mound, so dark that it looks almost black. Irregularly spaced millefiori florets in different designs and colors are placed about the mound. The most vibrant colored floret is centered near the top. This paperweight is pre-owned and vintage and due to this fact does have a few small issues. There is one longer, faint scratch (about 1 long) on it that can be felt more than seen and a few barely perceptible tiny scratches. Of course there are the usual fine scratches on the flat bottom. I didn’t notice the scratches until I took it outdoors to take the photos in the bright light. There is also a slight dip in the glass which was during the creation process. The paperweight is approximately 2 1/4″ tall x approximately 2 3/4″ wide at its widest. Thank you for viewing this item, and please check out my other listings.

Fratelli Toso Murano Glass Paperweight Millefiori Blue White Red Vintage Sticker

This is a Vintage Fratelli Toso Murano Art Glass Paperweight with Millefiori and White Confetti Base. The spherical paperweight has a beautiful cocentric circle design featuring blue, white and red daisy millefiori cane over a white confetti base. The paperweight measures approximately 3″ in diameter x 3″ tall and is in excellent vintage pre-owned condition with no chips, cracks, stains, or crazing. The weight shows part of its original label which unfortunately can’t be read, but the decor and canes have been matched to those produced by the Fratelli Toso furnace in the mid-century, and can be attributed as such. The base has been smoothed and highly polished. Please see pictures for details. Any further condition issues (chips, cracks, excessive crazing) will be specifically mentioned.
