Perthshire Emerald Green PP10 Paperweight – REDUCED PRICE

This is a fine example of the PP10 medium millefiori general edition weight by Perthshire Paperweights of Creiff Scotland. General edition Perthshire weights are not dated, but the PP10 was only made from 1969 to 1973. All PP10s have five cane clusters surrounding a central cluster on a translucent colored ground with a flat polished star cut base. In this particular weight the outer clusters consist of six pale pink pastry mold canes with white tubular centers surrounding a central pale blue pastry mold cane with a pale blue center. The center cluster consists of seven pale green cog canes with white cross centers surrounding a central pale blue pastry mold cane with a darker blue center. The translucent ground is brilliant emerald in color. The weight is 2.45″ in diameter and 1.9″ tall. Other than a small scratch to the base that can be seen in the star cut image, the weight is in perfect condition. NOTE: For some reason, Chrome is rendering the images in a very subdued palette. The emerald green looks more olive green in Chrome. Perthshire was founded in 1968 by Stuart Drysdale, then General Manager of Strathearn Glass. His intent was to produce high quality paperweights in the classic French Style. Perthshire Paperweights did just that until the factory closed in 2002. Dupont Period Baccarat Type III Pansy Paperweight – REDUCED PRICE

The two upper petals are a deep purple in color over white. The three lower petals are an amber yellow over white, with the white extending to accent the edges of the petals, tipped with purple, each with three black accent lines radiating from the center of the flower to the edge of the petal. The center of the flower is a complex cane consisting of a red bullseye surrounded by two rings of star rods. As with all Type III pansies, there are three bright green leaves surrounding the flower, left, top, and right. The flower is set on a delicately curved bright green stem, with two additional leaves. The weight is 2.55″ in diameter and 1.6″ tall. The base is ground flat and cut with a 16 point star. This weight is in excellent condition for its age, with only a few minor surface scratches and flea bites on the side of the weight. The base has minor shelf wear, commensurate with its age. The glass is quite clear with a whitish tinge. Compagnie des Verreries et Cristalleries de Baccarat was founded in 1764 in Alsace, France. Baccarat began making paperweights in 1845, shortly after Saint-Louis. They continued until the late 1800s. For a brief period in the 1930s M. Dupont, a Baccarat glassworker, attempted to recreate the classic era weights, with some success. Paperweight production again halted until they began making sulphide encasements in 1953, and then millefiori weights in 1957. They continue to produce high quality paperweights to this day. Vintage Paperweight Art Glass and Brass Andirons St Claire. This Vintage pair of andirons is in excellent condition. These collectible items are an amazing work of art. The light blue and white glass was believed to be hand formed by Zimmerman Of the Saint Claire art glass company. The metal is thought to be a brass overlay with a copper base. Please review the pictures carefully to appreciate the detail and design of both the glass and the metal pieces. Width: 7 1/2 inches. Depth: 6 1/2 inches. As stated above, the condition of these andirons is very good. The andiron on the left tilts back slightly. However, it can be corrected with a small pad under the back of the base. For your consideration is a beautiful, vintage, hand blown, ORIENT AND FLUME paperweight. The background is a soft iridescent champagne color. A multi colored butterfly appears below an iridescent pearl colored flower on a green stalk. The sides have pulled feather designs. The piece is signed Orient and Flume, 176 M, 1976. It is approximately 3 inches wide and 2 1/4 inches high. In some lights there is an iridescent hue to the flower, butterfly and stem. It is in great condition without chips or cracks. There are a few places where the color is irregular. This is typical of older hand blown glass. This paperweight would make a fabulous addition to your collection or give it as a special gift. For your consideration is an exquisite, iridescent, Smyers Studio art glass paperweight. It measures 3 inches wide and 2 1/2 inches tall. A bright orange crescent moon is on the top. Little white stars appear in the shiny iridescent aqua and deep blue sky. The sides are covered with pulled feathered designs that resemble deep blue waves. In some lights the paperweight has iridescent hues and you can see slight traces of magenta, teal and gold. It is in good condition without, cracks or chips. There are some slight scratches on the base where it rests. The bottom reads: Smyers Studios, 1978. It is very striking and would be a wonderful addition to your signed, paperweight collection. For your consideration is a striking studio art glass paperweight done by Correia. It is approximately 3 inches tall and 3 inches at its widest point. An aqua and bright colored silver striped, applied glass, snake is coiled around the top. It has a red forked tongue which is also applied. The paperweight is clear with a veil of iridescent rainbow hued flecks inside. In some lights you can see magenta, blue, teal and gold. This is signed Correia and numbered WS /53/. There are no chips or cracks. A few minor scratches appear on the base where it rests. This is typical of older pieces. It is a very unusual piece! I have other Correia snake paperweights listed.
