RARE VINTAGE CLICHY MILLEFIORI GARLAND QUATREFOIL PAPERWEIGHT w/BIG PINK ROSE. This is a beautiful vintage Clichy paperweight from the French Classic Period… Expertly crafted with a brilliant pattern using cheerful complex canes and rich colors! It features a charming quatrefoil design with 2 different interlacing millefiori garland loops on clear ground. At the center of the weight is a big pink/green rose cane, surrounded by 2 concentric rings of complex millefiori canes. The glass fluoresces green under a black light. It measures approx 3 1/8″ in diameter and just under 2 3/8″ high. It weighs 1 lb 8.5 oz. It is in excellent condition… Just a few little fleabites and faint hitmarks, and a small shallow nick near the base and minor surface wear to the base.
