Still bearing its original Archimede Seguso Murano glass label to the base this is a beautiful vintage Murano sommerso aventurine glass kiwi or pouter pigeon bird in black purple and gold powder fleck sommerso glass. Label is Archimede Seguso verified. About 10 cm tall and weighs about 700 grams 0.7 Kg. Super vintage Murano bird in great condition-displays beautifully with glossy smooth surface. A great addition to any collection. Having a huge clear out from my vintage glass collection (house move). I will post very carefully packed double boxed, tracked and signed for. This listing is for a large very RARE find… A MURANO CENEDESE paperweight figurine in the form of a Dachshund…. The technique is red sommerso. The uv backlight shows strong colour uranium throughout and looks a very striking fluorescent green colour in good natural daylight. There is no sticker but google research has found many similars. The measurements are 5 high x 7 wide. There is no damage whatsoever….. Excellent in Mint condition. Great for that illusive present for husband, boss, or simply to admire for uranium glass collectors. The last photo is of a Murano Cenedese figurine of a bull which I have listed separately. For sale is a beautiful Venetian Art Glass Frog Sculpture / Aquarium. This is a great mid-century Murano Sommerso block glass leaping frog sculpture made in Murano, Italy c. The sculpture is hand made with clear, green, black etc. Very well made, probably by Alfredo Barbini or Cenedese glass works. It is not signed. In excellent condition-no chips or cracks! Description : A nice vintage Murano sommerso paperweight figurine of a bird (it looks like a kingfisher to me) in light blue glass with an emerald green interior bubble. It was made by the great firm of Salviati, in the 1970s. Size : 4.5″ tall by 5.25″ across at beak. Mark :Gold foil Salviati & C. Label on bottom Condition : Light wear to polished bottom, otherwise fine. Beak is fine and smooth, no damage.
