This gorgeous example has a white background, against which blue and yellow flowers, with green leaves, make a striking contrast. The outer casing is clear glass, which has polished faces on the top, sides, and bottom. This piece is approximately 2 5/16 inches tall and 2 13/16 inches wide. Unpacked, this piece weighs 1 pound 1.3 ounces. It would make a great addition to a collection of European art glass. Identification This vintage Caithness paperweight has an acid-etched marking beneath, Caithness Blue Spray Scotland. ” This is from a limited edition, and it has engraved numbers beneath, “19/250. Within the white glass near the flower stem, there is a tiny blue cane mark that I can not make out. Condition The paperweight looks great overall, with no chips or cracks.
