UMBRELLA PAPERWEIGHT – INK WELL and STOPPER. Circa 1890 and made at Whitall Tatum Glassworks, Millville in Southern New Jersey. The rough pontil and a large foot with a secondary ring above it sometimes referred to as a Mariah’s Ring. The Umbrellas have wonderful form and color, centered within the glass. Many of these Umbrellas have been attributed to John Rhulander, one of the few known expert glassblowers at the Millville Factory. In GREAT Condition – NO Chips or Cracks – Some Roughness on end of Stopper, might be from in-the-making – PLEASE VIEW ALL PHOTOS. Measures 8 1/2″ tall x 3 1/8″ diameter.
