Presenting an exceptionally fine and impressive vintage Italian Murano art glass paperweight. This expertly hand crafted piece features a beautiful array of vibrant millefiori canes suspended within the sparkling clear glass dome. Exceptionally fine and intricate flower shaped canes form a close packed design. Green, cranberry and white flower canes form four petals radiating from a central cranberry and white flower cane, with striking radiant cobalt blue an d white flower canes surrounding the petals. The fine canes have been masterfully hand crafted, the design is exceptionally striking and the colour combination incredibly attractive. The solid glass dome acts as a lens, wonderfully magnifying and distorting the exquisite colours and shapes within to create fabulous optical effects. This stunning hand crafted piece has been exceptionally well crafted and beautifully finished with a quality flat ground polished base. Minor surface scratches to the base beautifully authenticate this is a vintage example. This piece is presented in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. This piece has been very well cared for and presents spectacularly. This impressive paperweight stands approx 57mms tall and measures 90mms in diameter.
