This is for a Very Rare Signed Sam Sturgeon Glass Works Hanging Hearts & Flowers Paperweight. Signed: Sam Sturgeon Glass Works 1991 FL05- 04- R. This Rare Paperweight was made and signed by Sam Sturgeon in 1991. Sam worked for Orient & Flume and also worked for Lundberg Studios. Afterwards, He had his own studio for a very brief time before health issues forced him to stop working in 1992. This paperweight was made during that brief time. Sam was a very talented artist but he focused more on the glass cutting than in the hot glass arena and accordingly made very few paperweights. Sam’s work is Rare and highly Collectible.
