All of this is surrounded by “waves” and done primarily in the colors of red and tan. It was hand-made by the very talented glass artists at Lundberg Studios in 1979. This piece and has been part of my personal collection since the year 1999.

SUPER RARE PAIR Vintage Midcentury Viking Glass Brown & Green Acorns. Phenomenal display pieces that add the best character in autumn or year round! Excellent to Mint Condition. Each of these hollow, hand-blown acorns measures approximately 4.5″ H by 3.5″ W and has an indented, level base to keep them from rolling when displayed. SUPER VINTAGE GANDELMAN STUDIO BLUE CASED ART GLASS PAPERWEIGHT VASE SIGNED. A beautiful piece of contemporary American hand-made studio art glass in the form of a gorgeous paperweight style vase. It was hand-made by glass artist Roger Gandelman, whose studio, West Rock Art Glass, is in Branford Connecticut. From his website, he appears to specialize mostly in perfume bottles. This vase is a very heavy paperweight style piece and has been part of my personal collection since the year 2009. It features two large purple pansy-like flower blossoms, and multiple smaller pink and purple flower blossoms along with colored glass vines within the crystal or clear colored glass that connect everything together. The beauty of this piece is enhanced by the fact that this is cased glass with a layer of teal or blue colored glass inside the crystal or clear colored glass exterior. This is all very skillfully done in the lampwork technique, which is working colored glass canes into the inside of the piece while the glass is in a near molten state. This takes great skill and this artist is definitely a master. The base of the vase is scratch signed on the underside with what appears to me to read: Gandelman and 2009. I do my best to describe all items as accurately as possible and to the best of my ability. Some of my photos may be somewhat lighter or darker than actual to better show detail or color. However, do not hesitate to contact me with any questions, comments, or with requests for additional pictures. Our store has many unique and interesting items in several different categories from 35 years of our dealing and collecting antiques and collectables. It is in pristine mint original condition. Please look closely at the photos as they are an important part of my description of this item. There are no chips, flea bites, cracks, hairlines or repairs and no signs of use. Basically, it looks like new. Please keep in mind these photos can be blown up at least 8X-10X times normal, so anything you see will look 8X-10X times larger than it really is. Please note: if you see a dark spot in the photos it is from my camera and is not a mark on the piece. It will be either just to the right of center towards the bottom or slightly above center on the right side of the photo. It is about 2.5 (6.4 cm) in diameter at the widest point and stands about 4.625 (11.7 cm) tall. About 1 pound 4.75 ounces (590 grams). On heavier items I will also offer a less expensive option, if available.
