OUTSTANDING and RARE ANTIQUE Millville ” HOME SWEET HOME ” Art Glass Paperweight PLAQUE on resting on a thin layer of pastel colored splatter glass. (Circa 1880 – 1910). I only see two minor flaws with this lovely paperweight and that is it does have floating debris over the log cabin in the center, see 2nd and 3rd picture and the plaque does show a few hair line cracks but these flaws occurred when this piece was made back in the late 1800′s. It also has a double layer of pastel splatter glass. It has a slightly concave clear bottom that shows. Shelf ware to the basal rim. It is very rare to have a plaque weight were the letters are not painted on. This one has the “HOME SWEET HOME” Quote in raised letters from the plate used to create this work of art. I consider this Rare Paperweight to be in Very Good Original Antique Condition. This is a Magnum Size Paperweight that Measures 3 5/8″ Diameter by 2 3/4″ Tall and weights just over 2 pounds all by itself. Please check pictures for further description.
