Paperweight by the Caithness Glass Company of Scotland. The weight is named’Flamenco’ and was designed by Alastair Ross. The weight has ribbons of red and blue running through it with a white dotted twist in the centre. The solid colour in the base is purple and there are controlled bubbles around the outer edge. The Caithness Glass Company Limited started operations in 1961 and began making paperweights in 1962 after the arrival of Paul Ysart.
